How do I return an item?

RETURN POLICIES

Lifeguard Protection will accept product returned under the general terms listed below. The purchaser is required to contact our Returns Department via phone or email in order to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Our Quality Control department will consider any product to be covered by warranty if/when completed evaluation determines said product to be within specified guidelines, (i.e. warranty time frame and reason for product malfunction determined not caused by mishandling by user). Lifeguard Protection will notify the purchaser of any additional charges that may be incurred during evaluation prior to proceeding.

RR: Return for Repair
  • Customer reports product malfunction
    • Product purchased > 30 days
      • Customer responsible for cost of shipping product to manufacturer
      • Customer may be subject to a $25.00 repair charge if product is determined malfunction not covered under manufacturer warranty
  • Manufacturer to complete a Quality Control evaluation
    • Manufacturer agrees to pay for shipping replacement product should it be determined to be covered under manufacturer"s warranty
E: Exchange
  • Customer requests a replacement product to be sent prior to QC evaluation or request different product all together.
    • Product purchased < 30 days and reported malfunctioning
      • Manufacturer to send a new replacement product with a return label in order to complete QC evaluation on malfunctioning product
      • If determined cause for error not covered under manufacturer warranty, customer may then be subject to additional charges for the new replacement and shipping costs
C: Credit
  • Customer requests to return product for credit
    • Returned < 30 days of purchase
      • Re-stock fee will not apply
      • Shipping charges will not be refunded unless result of our shipping error
    • Product purchased > 30 days
      • Re-stock fee of 20% will be charged
      • Shipping charges will not be refunded unless result of our shipping error
  • Option to complete a "Re-Order"
    • Product reported malfunctioning, purchased > 30 days and customer unable to operate safely without working product, customer places a "re-order" and returns malfunctioning product for QC evaluation
      • If product is determined to be covered under manufacturer warranty, the original invoice will be credited
      • If determined cause for error not covered under manufacturer warranty, customer will not receive credit for item and may request for item to be returned to their facility
